Microfinance and co-operative lending software for Indonesia, the Philippines and Cambodia
Across Indonesia, the Philippines and Cambodia, small lenders serve market vendors, farmers and micro-enterprises — some through weekly group meetings, some through daily collection at the stall, many through co-operatives that pool member savings. Byaj Batta handles all three on one book, with loan officers working from an app and the accounts closing from the same data.
Who we work with in Indonesia, Philippines and Cambodia
Co-operatives
Savings and loan co-operatives — koperasi simpan pinjam in Indonesia, CDA-registered co-operatives in the Philippines — with member shares, savings and loans.
Microfinance institutions and NGOs
Microfinance NGOs and MFIs running group or individual micro-enterprise lending, including Cambodia's licensed MFIs.
Rural banks and lending companies
Rural banks, BPRs and lending or financing companies that need a loan book, collections and a ledger without a full core-banking project.
How it fits the way you lend
Daily collection for market vendors
Loans repaid every day, or every market day, with a collection route per officer and a daily sheet of who is due — the same daily-collection product Indian lenders use for small traders.
Weekly group lending
Groups with members, a leader and a meeting day, collected member by member at the meeting.
Member shares and savings
Co-operative share capital, savings and deposits held on the member's record next to their loans, all posting to one ledger.
Approval workflows per product
A micro-enterprise loan and a salary loan need not go through the same steps: field verification, credit check and approval stages are set per product.
Portfolio quality you can act on
PAR and days-past-due ageing by branch, officer and product, from live balances rather than an export.
Connected during onboarding
None of these is live out of the box outside India. We work with you to connect your local payment, KYC and credit bureau providers, and scope each one before you sign.
- →E-wallet and bank channels for repayments and disbursements (for example GCash or Maya in the Philippines, ABA or Wing in Cambodia, bank virtual accounts in Indonesia), connected with your provider
- →Identity checks against national ID, through the verification provider you choose
- →Your credit bureau or credit information system, for enquiries and submissions
- →SMS reminders through a local gateway
- →Returns to OJK, the BSP or CDA, or the National Bank of Cambodia, built from data already in the system
Your currency, your pricing
Indonesian rupiah (IDR) and Philippine peso (PHP) are already in the currency list; the Cambodian riel (KHR) is added when your organisation is set up.
Pricing is per active loan, quoted in IDR, PHP or KHR. Onboarding, migration and provider connections are scoped and quoted before you commit.
Hosted in the cloud and run by us; data hosted in-region on request.
Frequently asked
Can we lend in both riel and US dollars?
Not within one organisation today: each organisation has a single base currency. If your book is split between KHR and USD, raise it in the demo and we will go through honestly how that could be set up.
Does it handle daily collection from market vendors?
Yes. Daily (or any custom-interval) repayment schedules, a collection route per officer and a daily due list are standard, and the officer records collections on the Android app.
Can co-operative members hold shares and savings as well as loans?
Yes. Share capital, savings and deposits are held on the member's record alongside their loans, and all of it posts to the general ledger.
Can borrowers repay through GCash, Maya or other e-wallets?
Not automatically out of the box. Today an e-wallet or bank repayment is recorded with its reference; connecting your e-wallet or bank channel is done during onboarding with your provider.
Is the software available in Bahasa Indonesia, Filipino or Khmer?
Staff screens are in English today. Tell us in the demo what your field teams need and we will be straight about what is possible.
